Colleen Smith serves as the Director of Government Affairs for Invenergy- a leading privately held developer, owner, and operator of sustainable energy solutions. In her role, Colleen oversees Invenergy’s state affairs across MISO, SERC, PJM, and ISO-NE.

Prior to joining Invenergy, Colleen served as the Deputy Director for the Illinois Environmental Council, State Director for the Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition, and in numerous government affairs and advocacy roles. Colleen holds her Masters of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School, and has a B.A. in Environmental Studies from University of Colorado- Boulder.
