Colleen Smith serves as the Vice President of Government Affairs for Invenergy- a leading privately held developer, owner, and operator of sustainable energy solutions.

In her role, Colleen oversees Invenergy’s state affairs across the eastern half of the United States, supporting policy development and implementation and public affairs efforts.
Prior to joining Invenergy, Colleen served as the Deputy Director for the Illinois Environmental Council and Chief of Staff to Illinois state representative Ann Williams, among other government affairs and energy roles.

Colleen holds her Masters of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School, and has a B.A. in Environmental Studies from University of Colorado.
