Jenna is the Midwest Regional Director for Vote Solar focusing on Minnesota and Michigan. Through this work, Jenna builds and supports collaborative campaigns that drive legislative and regulatory solutions aimed at a just 100% clean energy future.

Jenna is a public policy professional with over a decade of utility and industry experience. Prior to joining Vote Solar, she was Senior Public Policy Advisor at Minnesota Power - an investor-owned utility in northeastern Minnesota - focusing on regulatory policy. She also served as Interconnection Policy Advisor at Nexamp - a national clean energy company headquartered in Boston, MA - where she focused on solutions to interconnection issues facing solar and storage projects in multiple regions. In these roles, she delved deep into grid modernization, integrated distribution planning, electrification, equity, and stakeholder engagement. Jenna is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Solar Energy Industries Association.

Jenna received her Master’s in Advocacy and Political Leadership from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Her time in this program shaped her advocacy philosophy of creating social and political change via education, engagement, honesty, and inclusion.
